Citadel Base -Paints The perfect primer for painting an army. Citadel Base Paints are specially designed to provide full coverage and intense colour in one or two coats. They are acrylic-based and quick-drying, making them ideal for base-painting figures, whether it's a single hero or an entire army. These paints are thicker than the colors in the Layer series and contain more pigment, which allows them to adhere well even to more difficult-to-paint surfaces and form a strong, even base for subsequent layers, shading and highlights. Features: Highly pigmented and opaque formula Perfect for first coat of paint over primer Can be applied with a brush or thinned with an airbrush Compatible with all Citadel colors and techniques Usage tip: For best results, we recommend applying Base paints in two thin layers. This way, the color will cover well but retain details. Color selection: Available in a wide range of colors, from deep dark armor tones to brilliant skin and fabric colors, there is a suitable shade for every figure and army. Paint can generally 12ml.
