Death Guard Unstoppable legions of death and plague The Death Guard are one of the most feared and iconic legions of Chaos. Immortal, rotting, and wholly owned by Nurgle, the god of plague and rot. These warriors were once loyal Space Marines, but during the Horus Rebellion, they fell into Nurgle's clutches and became his eternal servants. Death Guard warriors feel no pain, no fear, no death. Their bodies are riddled with disease and rot, but these gifts make them nearly indestructible on the battlefield. They march slowly but inexorably forward, suffocating their opponents with rot and poison. From a gaming perspective: Playstyle: Slow, heavy, and unstoppable.
