This was my son’s (6 yrs old) first bike helmet and it fits him perfectly. What were the chances of that? It’s the Blue Chance helmet labeled “small” as opposed to the ones listed as xs in this ad. On the package it says Schwinn and 5 . I don’t know if my son has a small head, but it certainly isn’t oversized. It’s avg for the most part. He luvs Paw Patrol. I put this on his head to see if it would fit, put it on over his glasses no problem, adjusted the back. He liked it so much he wore it for hours, he wouldn’t take it off. So, great helmet as a first helmet, and got lucky with all of the sizing issues people tend to have when trying to pair a helmet to their child this way, without being able to try it on first in person. This is the largest size Schwinn makes for children, to my knowledge, so will have to look for a different company when he outgrows this one.
