I have no interest is swapping out my 2019 Ford F-150’s radio, as this isn’t my daily driver. That said, one of my rear speakers began cracking so I started looking for a reasonable upgrade. This kit was intriguing because it was advertised as being all inclusive. I have had good experience in the past with Kicker speakers, and based on the reviews, it placed my order.The items came extremely well packaged and the box did have (almost) everything I needed for a quick installation in the truck. Those that have remarked about the screws are right, as far as my experience goes. The screws provided to attach the rear speakers to the mounting rings are one size too small. This wasn’t an issue for me since I keep a stock of miscellaneous screws in my home shop. I was able to find a handful of suitable replacements, so all’s well that ends well.The installation was as easy as it gets, but with the F-150 you do need plastic trim tools. The entire process took me about 1-1/2 hours and I took my time on the first door (after the obligatory YouTube primer, of course).The sound is much improved over the stock paper speakers (notwithstanding the blown rear unit). I am sure our travels will be much more enjoyable with this upgrade.
